What equipment do Kayakmór provide?
Kayakmór supplies kayaks, paddles and kayaking equipment including buoyancy aid, spray deck, splashproof /windproof cagoule & trousers and wetsuits.
What should you bring kayaking?
We ask that you bring the following items to wear under the overgear we provide:-
- Footwear (which may get wet) i.e. Old runners/sneakers or wetsuit shoes
- Swimwear
- Activity leggings or tracksuit bottom
- Top layers x 2, activity fleece/thermal/ long sleeved is good, (cotton is not great for warmth)
- Hat, either fleece/wool in cold weather or sun hat in sunny weather
- Sun cream
- Water drink
- Changing towel
Cancellations Policy
If you cancel up to 48hrs prior to commencement of a course or Tour, we will offer you a return of your money less paypal admin fee or a place on a future course of your choice. If you cancel after 48hrs of a course or tour, please understand that extra instructors may have been employed on the strength of your booking and consequently the best we may be able to offer you is a place on a suitable future course or tour.

A 50% deposit by credit card, paypal, bank transfer or cheque will be need to secure the booking.
Do I need to be able to swim?
No, bear in mind that you will be wearing a buoyancy aid at all times and you will always be accompanied by your instructor. We can provide a double kayak for the non swimmer with one of our instructors. If you are water competent, that is enough - we provide buoyancy aids to all our clients, and capsizes are quite rare, unless you choose otherwise!
Do you cancel if weather conditions are poor?
Rain will not postpone the tour or course but occasionally, we have to cancel due to very strong winds. As forecasts are changeable, we generally do not make our final decision re cancellation until the previous day or even the morning of the tour or course. We will text or call you with this information on the mobile phone number you supplied at the time of booking. Following a cancellation by us, you may choose to be reimbursed but we hope you will choose another date from our wide selection of courses.
